Sioux Chief Hosts Tour Group
from Hajoca.
Sioux Chief Manufacturing recently hosted a group of Hajoca “Profit
Center” managers from the North and South Carolina areas at their
new plant and headquarters in Kansas City, MO. The group also
included Shannon Mercil, Manager of Vendor Relations for Hajoca.
The visitors were accompanied by Representatives from Carolina Sales
Associates and were met by the Sioux Chief team for a tour of the
manufacturing plant, distribution/warehouse, and a round-table
discussion.
The evening before the tour, members of the Sioux Chief team
accompanied the visitors and representatives from Carolina Sales
Associates to dinner in historic downtown Kansas City. The next
morning, the group visited Sioux Chief’s copper and extrusion
departments at the plant in Peculiar, then spent the rest of the day
at the new Kansas City facility, touring the manufacturing plant and
participating in a round-table discussion.”

During the tour, some
guests were able to see new opportunities right away. “The
tour was very informative and resulted in some immediate
business for an ongoing project in our area,” said Andy
Weymouth from Hendersonville, NC. “I highly recommend the
time away from the office as well, the hospitality was quite
impressive.”
Another visitor, Robert Morris from Columbia, SC, was
impressed by the new facility and processes that were in
place. “After being in this industry for over 30 years, it’s
encouraging to see a manufacturer that is determined to be
an industry leader by doing things the right way,” Morris
said. “I look forward to seeing what new heights Sioux Chief
can achieve with their new facility.”
